The purpose of our teen ministry is:

To develop teens that love God with the entirety of their hearts which will then result in a life of loving others around them.

Why this Mission Statement?
This is a biblical concept found in Matthew 22:37-39. The Pharisees were asking Christ what He would call the greatest commandment, (Pharisees were ritualistic in nature,  and they thought that if they followed the rules then they were good to go; despite not having a true authentic walk with Christ) Christ's answer is quit appalling: “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
If our teens fall in love with Christ and become disciples of Him, they will live a life where Christ's love out pours on those around them. It's a natural reaction! This leads to making relationships and having the chance to share the Gospel!
